Case Study: DriveWealth Communicating Confidently and Assertively

DriveWealth has been in a period of hypergrowth in the past year, adding over one hundred new employees to the organization. In March of 2021, a new group was started to support women in the organization through networking and development opportunities. Women at DriveWealth meets monthly with varying topics and activities during the virtual sessions. Since the group has begun, there has been a desire to provide structured professional development opportunities to the group participants. Based on participant feedback, the planning team chose to offer Gild Collective’s Communicating Confidently and Assertively workshop focused on:

  • Understanding personal strengths and communication styles to authentically demonstrate value to teams and networks.

  • Building skills to advocate for oneself and others through assertive communication techniques.   

  • Developing and practicing professional communication strategies that can be used in various workplace situations, increasing confidence in daily interactions with colleagues and managers.

As the organization continues to grow, we look forward to engaging once again with the Women at DriveWealth initiative as well as the broader organization to ensure that diversity, equity and inclusion is being approached from all angles in order to create the greatest behavioral shift.
